About Our Lady of Dolours Church – The Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Wadala (also spelt Vadala) is a Roman Catholic church in Mumbai, India built in 1853. The parish of Our Lady of Dolours with its school, St. Joseph’s High School was entrusted to the Salesians in 1948, about the same time as the Salesians settled in Matunga.
The boundaries of the parish stretch in the North from the Central Railway main line crossing over Bhaudaji Road; to the South bordering the railway line at Kidwai Nagar and includes Madhav Nagar, Sahakar Nagar and a portion of Naigaon. On the East we have the Railway line till Raoli junction and King’s Circle as also the BPT Quarters on the east of the railway line. On the West we stretch upto Dadar Circle extending to the Central Railway line.
