The church’s establishment was made possible through the generous land donation by Marceline Misquitta and the parishioners of St. Louis Church, demonstrating their philanthropic dedication to the church’s growth. Over time, St. Louis Church expanded its services and facilities, including the addition of the school and the establishment of various associations within its premises. The church achieved a significant milestone when His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias consecrated it in 2008, marking a momentous event in its history. This consecration signified its status as a fully-fledged church within the Archdiocese of Mumbai.

St Louis Church administered by the Congregation of Fathers of Holy Cross, has continued to be a pillar of spiritual and communal life, with a special emphasis on education through its school.
