St. Anthony’s Church – Malad

About St. Anthony’s Church – The present Church building was constructed in 1834-35 although the church origin dates back to 1860. The former building was reportedly destroyed thrice during the Maratha invasion before it was rebuilt. A lifesize statue of St Anthony was imported from Portugal.

The Church is located at Malwani and was recently renovated. Also included is the schedule for the Infant Jesus Chapel at Kharodi.
