Gloria Church – Byculla 3

About Gloria Church – Gloria Church (Portuguese: Nossa Senhora de Gloria) is one of the oldest Roman Catholic churches in Mumbai built by the Portuguese Franciscans in 1632. The church is situated in the Byculla area of Mumbai.

The modern Gloria church was built in English Gothic style in 1911 at Byculla & shaped in the form of a Latin Cross with lofty Towers – 4 Turrets which rise to a height of 160 ft. In 2013 the Church was recently renovated for the centenary year.
